Monkey Business...............

This is what I have been up to, monkey business. Making these little guys. They are cute and look like they would be easy to make but they are time consuming. There are the many steps of changing the color of the yarn, separately making the mouth and attaching. Fitting the mouth just right so the eyes above it will look cute and then there are the "ears", I hate putting on the ears! I don't have a pattern for the ears, I just "wing" it and hope and pray that they come out looking like ears. Then the finishing of the strap for the wrist.

So if you would like one of these guys, you will have to wait till I list it, I hate being rushed and trying to get something done. My stress level had been overloaded and I can't do that anymore, it isn't healthy.

Another One Of My Creations

Now that that Valentine's Day is over with on to 6 more weeks of winter, Ugh! I am still making scarves and hats and purses. I have some new ideas for spring and summer but have to still keep up with the winter's demand of my items.

January is starting off to a good start...................

Well January is starting off to a good start, I have sold 10 items from my shop, yeh!
I think I am going to keep busy, makes feel even more inspired to create some new things. Valentine's Day is just around the corner, by the time things get made and mailed it will be here before you know it. Another New Creation of Mine....................

Well the holidays are over and its back to work. I am so glad that I now work out of my home. After working in an office for over 30 yrs. I can now be my own boss, something I have dreamed of for a long time now. It can be done, but takes alot of research and work to get there, but is worth it in the long run.

MY NEW CROCKPOT.................

I got a new crockpot for Christmas and it is great! My old one is over 20 yrs. old and the cord would get hot when I used it. I didn't trust it anymore and totally forgot about using one. I just cooked a potroast yesterday in my new one and it smells so good all day long while I am working here at home for my Etsy shop. The cord doesn't get hot and I feel safe with it on all day. I also don't have to worry about dinner or lunch for a couple of days for my family, gives me more time to knit/crochet for my shop : )
